The Sun and Stars shine brighter for a good cause this year.
After the successful run of Star Magic’c first benefit show titled “Star Magic
Gives Back Concert” in November 2011, the ABS-CBN’s talent management arm gives
a ‘repeat’ this time in partnership with Sunlife Financial’s SunPIOLOGY Run.
Piolo Pascual’s brain child, last year’s concert gathered
Star Magic’s biggest stars in one night and collected over half a million
pesos, which the donated to various charities including ABS-CBN’s sagip
Kapamilya, Elsie Gaches Village, Reception and Study Center for children
(RSCC), Noordhoff Craniofacial Foundation Philippines and the Sanctuary Center.
In cooperation with ABS-CBN’s 71 Dreams Foundation, Star Magic was also able to
sponsor a feeding program to more than a hundred residents of Fairview, Quezon
City.
Both anticipated fund raising events, Sun Life Financial
Philippines and Star Magic will be working hand in hand not only to extend
their help to ABS-CBN’s Lingkod Kapamilya, RSCC and the Sanctuary Center, but
also to Hebreo Foundation. The Sun Life Foundation is also a proud sponsor
event.
