TODA MAX NG BAYAN ROBIN PADILLA,VHONG NAVARRO AT POKWANG

Bilang patunay ng paghahari ng ABS-CBN sa komedya, buong-pusong nitong inihahandog ang pinakabagong dagdag sa numero unong Kapamilya Comedy, ang “TODA MAX,” na pinagbibidahan ng “Idol” ng bayan na si Robin Padilla, Prince of Comedy Vhong Navarro at Pokwang.

Ang napipintong paglulunsad ng “TODA MAX” ay hudyat ng pinaka-aabangang pagbabalik ng classic sitcom, na sinimulan ng Kapamilya Comedy.

Matapos ang natatanging pagganap sa hit primetime series na “Guns and Roses,” nagpahayag ng pagkasabik si Robin, lalo’t makaka-trabaho niyang muli ang kaibigang si Vhong. Inamin din ni Robin na personal niyang kahilingan na makatambal muli si Vhong sa isang sitcom. “Nagpa-bawas nga ako ng talent fee para makasama ko si Vhong,” pabiro niyang sambit.

 Ganoon din ang pananabik ni Vhong na muling maka-trabaho si Robin. Matatandaang unang nagsama ang dalawang aktor sa isang sitcom noong dekada 90, na naging daan sa pagyabong ng karera ni Vhong bilang regular na sidekick ni Robin sa kanyang mga pelikula. Sa “TODA MAX,” muling magtatambal ang dalawa upang makapaghatid ng de-kalibreng pagpapatawa na may halong aksyon at light drama.  


“Matagal na nung huling makasama ko si Idol Robin, kaya sobrang na-miss namin makatrabaho ang isa’t isa. At ang pagbabalik ko sa sitcom ay maituturing kong pagre-reinvent na din sa sarili, lalo’t sa nakalipas na mga taon ay puro soap opera at variety shows ang mga projects ko,” ani Vhong
 
Kasama ang bonggang-bonggang “Happy Yipee Yehey!” host na si Pokwang, hatid ng “TODA MAX” ang matinding katatawanan, at tiyak namang kapupulutan din ng aral.
 

Ang “TODA MAX” ay kwento ng amang si Tol (Robin) na makikipagsapalaran sa Maynila matapos ma-biyudo sa misis. Kasama ang mga anak na sina Sandy at Ron-Ron, tutuloy sina Tol sa bahay ng kanyang pinsan na si Justin Bibbo (Vhong). Si Justin naman ay may-ari ng karinderia, na sa kabila ng kahirapan ay nangangarap na maging isang sikat na chef balang araw.  

Bagaman magkaiba ang kanilang mga pananaw—si Tol ay seryoso, matapang at matibay ang paninindigan habang si Justin ay makulit, palatawa at masinop—hindi nila hinahayaang masira ang kanilang relasyon bilang mag-pinsan, lalo’t nagtutulungan sila sa pagpapalaki kina Sandy at Ron-ron.


Gagampanan naman ni Pokwang ang papel ni Lady G, isang dating mahirap na naging mayaman at nang-hahamak kay Justin. Sa pagpasok ni Tol sa eksena, mababago ang lahat dahil iibig si Lady G sa gwapong biyudo.

Talaga naman pang-pamilya ang “TODA MAX.” Tunghayan kung paano haharapin nina Justin at Tol ang mga pagsubok sa kanilang buhay.

Huwag palampasin ang “TODA MAX” na magsisimula sa Nobyembre 5, bago ang “Maalaala Mo Kaya” sa ABS-CBN.

Youtube sensation Mikey Bustos is the proud endorser of Chicharron ni Mang Juan, the newest innovative snack products from URC which put a contemporary spin on an old Pinoy favourite!  

It’s not easy to make an online video hit, more so a series of them, but for Fil-Canadian Mikey Bustos, all it took were his innately spicy humor and his taste for uniquely Filipino experiences.

Mikey gained quite a following online among local and international audiences, thanks to his YouTube channel Mikey Bustos Daily Videos where his “Pinoy tutorials” went viral with thousands of hits and counting.

He has uploaded a total of 15 Pinoy tutorials, each providing humorous insights on Filipino-isms ¾from local accents to table manners and even balut-eating.

No stranger to Filipino flavors, Mikey further enjoyed homegrown dishes during an afternoon of fun, food and games at Bar One in Holiday Inn where he was revealed as the endorser of Jack n’ Jill’s Chicharron ni Mang Juan.

“Our food is one of the many things that add to our rich culture, and being able to endorse Mang Juan and such cornerstone food items of our culture makes me feel so blessed from my deepest of roots,” he says. “I’m honored to represent such an amazing and truly Pinoy brand.”

Despite being raised in a Western society, Mikey makes sure that he stays close to his Filipino roots and insists that he is a true Pinoy at heart.

Mikey possesses a strong and authentic Filipino identity―a rare attribute from someone born and bred abroad―having been brought up in a strictly traditional Filipino household.  “Me and my brother were raised in really old school traditions,” he reveals.  Mikey even has the Pinoy accent down, which is something he thanks his mom for.

Ariel brought 3D technology to greater heights last Monday during the launch of the new Ariel Stainlift with Deep Clean Technology at SMX Open Grounds near Microtel Mall of Asia. Ariel wowed the audience with the highlight of the evening – a first-of-its-kind 3D Projection Mapping Show that changed the way the audience viewed the Microtel building from a flat façade to a 3-dimensional surface.


3D technology has improved how people see and experience the world by showing the multiple layers of a seemingly flat object or image. 3D projection mapping is a growing phenomenon globally and has been used by innovation leaders from various industries.  In the Philippines, laundry leader Ariel is the first in its industry to use this to complement the launch of its newest detergent developed using 3D technology to provide a deeper clean that goes beyond the surface until the deeper layers of clothing fibers.


Coinciding appropriately enough with Philippine Fashion Week, this event brought together fabric care and fashion by combining the expertise of fabric care leader Ariel and the Philippines’ leading clothing retailer Bench. Together, Ariel and Bench presented the country’s first outdoor 3D Projection Mapping Fashion Show with breathtaking visuals of models the height of the Microtel building garbed in Bench’s

current collection, which is available in all stores nationwide.


Attendees were also able to see how 3D technology was used in the research and development of the new Ariel through an enhanced viewing experience.  The venue was fully equipped with several next generation TVs, the LG Cinema 3D TV, the world’s first flicker free 3D TV from LG Electronics, the global leader and innovator in 3D TV technology.
 


This spectacle of breakthrough 3D technology was hosted by Boy Abunda, Ariel’s celebrity endorser. Abunda shared, “I am privileged to have been one of the first to witness the 3D power of new Ariel 3D Deep Clean during its global launch in Dubai.  I only endorse brands which I know are proven to work, and I personally saw how Ariel used 3D technology to create a product that cleans even the deepest clothing layers.  After that, I realized ordinary clean is no longer enough for our clothes. Gelain Reyes, Brand Manager for Ariel, explains, “Ariel used 3D technology to better understand how dirt

Laundry goes 3D with new Ariel Stainlift 3D Deep Clean!




3D technology is innovating how we see and experience the world by revealing the multiple layers of a seemingly flat object or image. 3D has been a revolutionary advancement in many fields - from the entertainment industry with 3D movies and games to professional industries like medicine, architecture and industrial design. But 3D in laundry?

Inspired by the 3D revolution, Procter & Gamble (P&G)’s top laundry brand Ariel brings breakthrough 3D technology for the first time to laundry and fabric care to make Ariel even better with the launch of its new Ariel Stainlift with deep cleaning technology.

Using 3D technology, Ariel revealed that clothing consists of not just one but multiple layers of fibers and that dirt and stains penetrate deep into these layers, making them even tougher to remove from our clothes.  Ariel scientists used 3D tools and techniques to go beyond the surface of fabrics and deep inside the complex fiber network to understand deep-seated dirt and stains. Stains can go very deep into the fiber network and using a Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), Ariel was able to magnify clothing fibers 2000 times to see how deep stains go. This tool revealed that stains are still present and deeply settled within the core of the fibers.  Stains also go deep inside fabrics very fast and with another 3D technique called Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Ariel was able to observe the unique characteristics of various stains as they penetrate into multiple layers. 

With knowledge gained from 3D technology, Ariel developed the new Ariel Stainlift with breakthrough deep cleaning formula that effectively removes dirt and stains from deep within. It delivers this through a 3-step Deep Cleaning process.  First, Ariel polishes the clothing fibers.  Second, Ariel reduced the negative charge of its cleaning agent particles to reduce repulsion and enable it to penetrate deeper.  Generally, cleaning agent particles usually have a highly negative charge, which creates a natural repulsion between the agent and the fibers, which are also
negatively charged.  Third, it extracts the dirt and stains from the deep fiber layers to give a 3D deep clean in, out and in-between.

So unlike other laundry detergents, Ariel’s 3-step deep cleaning process allows it to remove stains even from the third layer.  Next time we look at dirt and stains on our T-shirt, we should not only look at it from the surface but remember that dirt is trapped deep within, which contributes to clothes looking dingy, worn, and old.  Ordinary clean is no longer enough to keep clothes looking clean like new, it has to be 3D Deep Clean by Ariel!
