UNIQLO opens 2nd store at SM City North EDSA

November 16, 2012, Quezon City, Philippines–UNIQLO, Japan’s leading global fashion brand, opens its second store today at the SM City North EDSA The Block. 

The opening of its 2nd store serves as a fitting follow-up to the very successful opening of UNIQLO’s first store in the Philippines in June this year at the SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City. 

The choice of SM City North EDSA in Quezon City was made to serve primarily Quezon City residents and other key areas in this part of northern Metro Manila. Quezon City is an acknowledged business, entertainment and lifestyle hub, and features a large concentration of residential areas that makes it an ideal location for UNIQLO’s new store. SM City North EDSA, on the other hand, is a top-of-mind choice for shopping and leisure activities in northern Metro Manila. 

With the opening of its 2nd store in the country, UNIQLO is right on track in its target of opening more stores in the Philippines that will bring UNIQLO’s excellent products to more people in other areas.

For the grandest and most medical Christmas experience in the metro, SM Mall of Asia has a lot in store for its shoppers it began on November 11, 5pm as they lit up their Grand Christmas Tree in the Main Mall Atrium to kick off this year’s Christmas festivities. SM MOA VIPs together with special guests launched the majestic 50-foot tree decked in twinkling lights and amazing toys. Santa Claus also joined in the fun when he bought the toys to life with a little magic for everyone to see! The whole mall felt the warmth of Christmas as they were serenaded by the UP Singing Ambassadors and OPM legend Kuh Ledesma together with her equally talented daughter Isabella. SM MOA’s Toy Wonderworld came to life when the Philippine All Stars, dressed as everyone’s favorite toys, stole the spotlight for an exciting dance number that the whole family enjoyed.
