Haier Philippines, in strategic partnership with Abenson, officially launched its latest innovation—the Haier Mini LED TV—during a vibrant, experience-driven event held at Abenson’s Quezon Avenue Flagship Store. With the theme “Where Color Meets Innovation,” the event showcased how cutting-edge technology can elevate home entertainment and smart living for Filipino households.  Hosted by media personalities Aiyana Perlas and Noel Blanco, the event opened with a lively introduction and warm energy that set the tone for an afternoon filled with entertainment, innovation, and inspiration. In her welcoming remarks, Ms. Angeli Patricio, Senior Marketing Manager of Haier Philippines, emphasized that the Mini LED TV represents more than just another product in the lineup—it embodies Haier’s ongoing commitment to creating smarter, more connected homes for the Filipino market. “We’re not just unveiling a new television,” she said, “we’re presenting a smarter way of living.”  Echoing this sentiment, Ms. Apple Ma, Marketing Head of Abenson, expressed Abenson’s pride in being Haier’s exclusive partner for the product launch. She shared that Abenson remains focused on helping families upgrade their entertainment experience and was thrilled to bring this innovative new TV to Filipino households. “It’s about pushing the boundaries of how we see, hear, and experience the world from our living rooms,” she said.  A major highlight of the afternoon was the official unveiling of the Haier Mini LED TV, led by Mr. Xuhong Yan, CEO & President of Haier Philippines, along with Ms. Joy De Leon from Abenson. Puregold Channel just raised the bar again.

Following the breakout digital hits 'My Plantito' and 'Ang Lalaki sa Likod ng Profile', Puregold Channel has stepped confidently into the realm of cinematic scale storytelling with its newest offering : 'Si Sol at Si Luna'.  The series was unveiled in a star studded press conference held on May 16, 2025 at the World Trade Center, Pasay City, making a quantum leap in Puregold's journey as a force in Filipino Digital Entertainment.

In 'Si Sol at Si Luna', Zaijan Jaranilla and Jane Oineza shed their childstar images for roles steeped in emotional complexity and adult vulnerability, a distinct first for both actors.  It's a career defining turn for Jaranilla, comoelling him to deliver his most mature performance yet in his first intimate scene, a bold moments not just for him but for Philippine retailtainment.

TEAM brings smiles, support to Child Haus


The Entertainment Arts & Media (TEAM), a group of freelance showbiz journos, held its outreach stint recently at Child Haus, a half-way residence in Malate, Manila for children with cancer who need periodic medical treatment in the city.


“We brought for about 40 children and their guardians lunch, snack goodies, sacks of rice, milk, canned goods, packs of multi-vitamins, biscuits, fruit juices, noodles, crayons, toys, tumblers, slippers, Jollibee food packs donated by Mygz Molino, and other needs,” said TEAM president Nonie Nicasio.


 “But, of course, we also brought them entertainment, such as solo talents and P-pop groups who rarely experience performing for a special audience, such as those children and their parents,”  said  TEAM vice president Anne Venancio.


The children and teens, as well as their parents/guardians, had fun watching the entertainment numbers offered to them by seasoned singer-philanthropist Emma Cordero, ABS-CBN Star Music’s singing pilot Janah Zaplan, TV host Mia Japson, teen solo dancer Champ Ryan, the vibrant Hiraya P-pop girls composed of Calli, Joanna, Anasity, Kitty, and Ashlee, upcoming Vehnee Saturno protege Jam Leviste, and games host Mygz Molino. Their Child Haus mini-show was put together by TEAM treasurer Obette Serrano who has been quietly directing live events for years now.


On the other hand, TEAM secretary Maridol Bismark stressed that the organization’s outreach efforts would have not succeeded and become meaningful without the support and logistics assistance of philanthropic personalities from the entertainment companies and other business establishments.Business solutions


“We’re happy to be conduits in fulfilling the desires of many God-blessed personalities to share with the needy their blessings. We’re humbled by their generosity and magnanimity,” revealed TEAM auditor Wendell Alvarez and TEAM assistant secretary Maryo Labad.


TEAM gave certificates of appreciation to those who have supported its annual gift-hiving and feeding project. TV networks Net25, UNTV and PTV 4 covered the event.

Child Haus is in a six-storey building on F. Agoncillo St. in Manila donated by SM Holdings. The organization was a brainchild of philanthropist-beautician Ricky Reyes and SM Holdings.
