TEMPTATION ISLAND


Bevy of Beauties gathers in the hottest movie event of the year Temptation Island

GMA Films and Regal Entertainment blend glamour and comedy, adventure and romance, in the much-anticipated remake of Temptation Island. Thirty years after its original creation, in the sensational movie returns – bigger, funnier, and more breathtaking than ever before!
Marian Rivera, Heart Evangelista, Lovi Poe, Solenn Heussaff, and Rufa Mae Quinto sizzle and shine as they breath new life to this modern interpretation of the Joey Gosiengfiao classic by Regal Films.
Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera takes on the role of the call girl Cristina originally played by Azenith Briones, while multi-award winning actress Heart Evangelista reprises the virginal character of Virginia originally portrayed bi Dina Bonnevie.
The role of the rich socialite, Serafine, played in the original movie by Jennifer Cortez, falls in the capable hands of another award-winning Kapuso actress, Lovi Poe. Model-turned-acterss Solenn Heussaff, meanwhile, is Pura, a social climber originally played by Bambie Arambulo.
Talented sexy comedienne Rufa Mae Quinto will portray the role of Nympha, Serafin’s bubbly nanny, first played by Deborah Sun.
Together, these five beauties will embark on a adventure of a lifetime as they complete not just for the coveted Manila Sunshine Supermodel  title, but also for survival in a deserted island - igniting a series of outragesly funny and amusing events!
To play equally significant roles in the story are Aljur Abrenica as Virginia’s suitor, Alfred, Tom Rodriguez as the yacht waiter, Umberto, and Mikael Daez as Joshua’s boyfriend and a photographer, Ricardo. These leading men roles were played in the first movie by Alfie Anido, Domingo Sabado and Ricky Belmonte, respectively. Dennis Trillo who plays Tony, Cristina’s boytoy, is also set to make a special appearance in the movie.
Fianlly, comedian-TV host John Lapus will reprise Jonas Sebastian’s character, Joshua, Ricardo’s love interest.
Trademarked in his creativity and highly innovative skills in directing, Chris Martinez reinterprets the hit movie for today’s generation of viewers, while still maintaning the original elements that its original fans have come to love. Temptation Island of 2011 is sure to leave lasting impression on the moviegoers as it promises to make them feel young, happy, and carefree from start to finish!
Temptation Island co-produced by GMA Films and Regal Entertainment will be out in theaters nationwide beggining July 6.
