SINGAPORE: YOUR CENTERSTAGE FOR ENTERTAINMENT
Share an unforgettable and electrifying vacation with your friends and family in Singapore with the Grand Prix Season Singapore, Pet Shop Boys concert, various musicals and many more.

Singapore has become a center stage for entertainment, and for those seeking just that, on top of the year-round concerts, art and theatrical events that happen in the city, the third quarter of the year is sure to bring excitement for everyone. From the much anticipated Grand Prix Season Singapore (13-22 September) to musicals like The Addams Family (9-28 July) and comedy acts such as Comedy Club Asia (11-15 September), everyone will find something that suits their taste in Singapore.

“We have over 30,000 art and entertainment events in a year, to the entertainment enthusiast, Singapore could be pure heaven in more ways than one,” said Ms Sherina Chan, Singapore Tourism Board Area Director for the Philippines and Brunei. “Any one will be spoilt for choice with the entertainment offerings in the third quarter of 2013,” added Ms Chan.

As the month of September rolls in, Asia's biggest sporting and entertainment extravaganza - the Grand Prix Season Singapore (GPSS) returns with a power-packed in-circuit lineup of international headliners such as THE KILLERS (Saturday) and RIHANNA (Sunday) in addition to legendary singer TOM JONES, esteemed singer-songwriter and philanthropist BOB GELDOF, soul singer-songwriter LAURA MVULA and English illusionist DYNAMO, amongst various stunning productions and electrifying parades. The world’s only FORMULA ONETM night race - the 2013 Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix (20-22 September) is expected to thrill thousands of visitors from around the world. As part of the festivities, racing fans can expect three full days of adrenaline-pumping action as some of the biggest names in F1 racing make their way through downtown Singapore.

With just one race ticket, you can catch these riveting performances and over 10 hours of race action at the 2013 Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix. Ticket starts from as low as Php 2,040. For the first time ever, a closing concert featuring JUSTIN BIEBER and special guests will also be showcased. Entry to JUSTIN BIEBER concert on Monday, 23 September, is separately ticketed at Php 2,940 for 2013 Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix ticketholders or at Php 4,440 for non-ticket holders.

The GPSS celebration continues at the most happening nightspots in Singapore. With establishments such as Zouk and Amber Lounge hosting spectacular parties, entertainment seekers will surely be up partying until the wee hours of the morning.

Musical enthusiasts need not travel far to catch international shows such as the world’s most successful and longest-running show on Broadway, The Phantom of Opera, as they take center stage in the city from 16 July to 25 August. And for musical lovers who want their funny bone to be tickled, The Addams Family will be on stage on 9 to 28 of July. While the Tony and Olivier Award winning musical, Hairspray The Musical, will make its first South East Asia debut in Singapore this 26 September to 1 October. Boasting a 70-strong cast and featuring a score of infectious 1960s dance, dazzling choreography, spectacular sets, costumes and of course BIG hair, Hairspray The Musical is poised to pack out the houses every night in this exclusive staging in Singapore!

For those who love the 80’s, Singapore offers a musical “throwback.” The Pet Shop Boys will be in town for a one night only concert on 3 August. Consisting of Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe, Pet Shop Boys are pioneers of the synth-pop phenomenon that hit the UK in the 80s and is one of the world's best-selling music acts, having sold over 50 million records worldwide.

To top it all, Singapore Airlines (SIA), in cooperation with Singapore Tourism Board (STB), gives you more reasons to spend your holidays in the Lion City with the launch of an attractive all-inclusive airfare from USD 280 or Stopover Holiday package (inclusive of hotel and transfers) from USD 378.  Airfare may be purchased from June 20-22, 2013 as well as from July 23-26, 2013. The Stopover Holiday package is valid for sale from July 2-16, 2013. Travel out of Manila until November 30, 2013. Peak period surcharge applies. In addition, from June 20 – September 30, 2013, Philippine passport holders can take advantage of exclusive deals from selected Singapore attractions with their SIA boarding pass.

“With the latest entertainment offerings in Singapore, many making their Asian debut in the city state, we are seeing more and more Filipinos travelling to Singapore to catch the latest musicals or concerts. Your family and friends will have more than enough reason to cross off their “to do list” in their bucket list for 2013.” said Ms Chan.
