MOONLIT RUN AT SOFITEL 2011:

PARTY AT THE FINISH LINE

Manila, April 12, 2011 – Sofitel Philippine Plaza announces the launch of its annual Moonlit Run at Sofitel: Party at the Finish Line, to be held on May 7, 2011 at the CCP Complex, Macapagal and Mall of Asia grounds. It is an evening fun run that ends with a fabulous party at the finish line at the Harbour Garden Tent, where guests may enjoy a tribal-motif dinner buffet, cocktails, and festive entertainment by poi dancers, fire blowers and one of the country’s top bands, Reggae Mistress. The Moonlit Run at Sofitel is being mounted for the benefit of Virlanie Foundation, a French non-profit organization whose aim is to bring back the smiles to the street children of Manila by way of providing homes, education, guidance, medical care, and a renewed sense of family and community.

Registration commences at 1pm at Sofitel’s Harbour Garden Tent, where runners may claim their jerseys, bibs and maps. The run officially starts at 6pm at the Harbour Garden Tent starting line, and runners may choose between 3K, 5K and 10K categories. The top three winners of each category win watches from Soleus, special treats from Sofitel Philippine Plaza and many more gifts and surprises.

Tickets are on sale at Php2,000 each, inclusive of the run registration, running kit, a decadent dinner buffet, free-flowing beers and cocktails, plus live entertainment for a most memorable party at the finish line! Guests may present their tickets and get 50% off Sofitel’s acclaimed Spiral buffet, and enjoy house-poured beverages at the new Fever Luxe Lounge at Sofitel at a special buy one take one offer, valid until May 31, 2011.
