and Pinoy pride Jessica Sanchez has come home to the Philippines

At the press luncheon held
recently at the Edsa Shangri-La Hotel, Jessica shared her excitement as the
newest addition to the homegrown fast-food chain’s circle of celebrity endorsers.
“Jollibee is synonymous to being Filipino, and that’s why I am so thrilled to
be a part of this family,” she said. “The fact that I’m representing this well-loved
and successful Filipino brand makes my heart swell with pride.”
Since her return for the Philippine
leg of the American Idol World Concert Tour last September 21, the global
singing phenom has barely had time to catch her breath. But she made sure to
visit a Jollibee store where she enjoyed its best-selling treats and
experienced first-hand the fast-food chain’s friendly and personalized service.
“Aside from the great-tasting food, the friendly crew and warm ambience really
made me feel at home. No wonder Jollibee is the favorite place for families to
bond and enjoy great food. It made me think of my family and the many times we
spent bonding together,” she said.
When asked about her favorite
item from the Jollibee menu, Jessica had this to say: “There are so many yummy
treats to choose from, but right now, I can’t get enough of their famous Chickenjoy!”
she said. “I love the crispy skin!”
Known as the little girl with
the big voice, the petite powerhouse singer gained international fame because
of her jaw-dropping performances in the US
