Yahoo! reveals the most popular web celebs at its second OMG! Awards
July 6, 2012, Manila, Philippines'love story with entertainment is eternal. This was reaffirmed by more than 13,000 celeb-crazy Pinoy fans who turned up at the Mall of AsiaArena to be a part of the star studded event that marked the finale of the second annual Yahoo! OMG! Awards. In total 4,102,720 votes were cast this year during the four week period from 4-28 june, in the lead up to the entertainment industry's grandest celebration that brought Kapatid, Kapuso, and Kapamilya stars together in one event.
The second annual Yahoo! OMG! Awards ceremony recognized winners from 129 nominees in 26 categories who were selected through popular search queries and polling methods online on Yahoo!'sleading entertainment property in the Philippines, OMG! and via SMS voting, sponsored by Sun Cellular.
