MONGOLS CRAYONS FOR KIDS

It’s a Colorful Life with Mongol Crayons

Mongol Pencils kicked off their exclusive partnership with Gymboree Play & Music. The event, called My Colorful Life, was held at the Manila Polo Club in Makati City and celebrated Gymboree’s acceptance of Mongol’s newest offering, Mongol Crayons, as the official crayon of Gymboree in the Philippines.

“We have the same goals,” said Erika De Belen, a Marketing Executive of Star Paper Corporation, the exclusive distributor of Mongol products in the Philippines. “We believe in the promotion of learning and the importance of strengthening the bond between parents and kids.”

Colors have always been a part of the Gymboree experience. For more than thirty years, Gymboree Play & Music has used play activities to ready their young charges for a better future. Coloring in particular has been used to improve object association, fine motor skills and expressing emotions.

“That’s why I chose Mongol Crayons,” says Ann Tan, owner of the Gymboree franchise in the Philippines. “The vibrant colors, the smooth lines and their overall quality allow kids to explore their creativity and potential. It gives them the ability to do things that let them grow.”

My Colorful Life was hosted by columnist, socialite and avowed Mongol fan Tessa Prieto-Valdez. Clad in a lovely and bold yellow dress, she sang the praises of Mongol Crayons, asking the kids which of the colors they liked the most among the brilliant Mongol Crayon shades.

Other celebrity attendees weighed in on My Colorful Life as their kids enjoyed close by.

“I like Gymboree because their events are age appropriate,” says actress Bernadette Allyson. “They know how to hold parties and use materials that will keep children interested and happy. My daughter is never bored at a Gymboree event. She hasn’t taken any classes at Gymboree yet but from what I can see here at the Mongol Crayons event, I’m definitely considering it.”

Actor and entrepreneur Niño Muhlach agrees. “It’s my first time here and I wanted to see what it was all about as I’ve heard good things about Gymboree and Mongol. I’m now looking at the possibility of sending my baby here.”

“My daughters have been going to Gymboree since we were in Istanbul, Turkey,” says actress and socialite Ruffa Gutierrez. “They are even part of the Leapfrog Class here. And just like today’s Mongol Crayons event, Gymboree activities are always full of color.”  //
